The Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan is hiring a full-time employee in Sault Ste. Marie. The open position is that of a provider liaison specialist, who will work with the Access to Recovery program and its network of providers. The wage is $13.79 hourly, and the job includes dental, optical, medical and life insurance, as well as sick leave, vacation, holidays, personal leave, and short and long-term disability insurance. Duties include being the first point of contact for provider inquiries, maintaining provider files, database management, and other assignments from the program director and assistant director. The tribe offers family-friendly policies, an informal work environment, and preference is given to qualified Native applicants. References and security check required.
Qualifications:
-Associates degree in office administration or comparable experience.
-Ability to use general office equipment
-Strong organizational and communication skills.
-Demonstrated computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Go To Meeting.
-Demonstrated experience with tribal substance abuse programs preferred.
-Knowledge of clinical treatment modalities for substance abuse and mental health preferred.
