Shopko in Escanaba is seeking a loss prevention leader. The store loss prevention leader is responsible for tasks and duties required to protect Shopko assets at an assigned store. These assets include the facility and equipment, cash, merchandise and the safety of teammates and customers. The loss prevention leader also assists the store management in training and communicating loss prevention processes and policies to all teammates.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older (state requirement).
- Must have experience in retail loss prevention; including coursework in Criminal Justice, Police Science or Security Administration or equivalent experience.
- High school equivalent reading and math skills.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership skills to communicate and implement programs and handling critical loss investigations.
- Requires effective decision making skills for handling customer and teammate problems.
- Must demonstrate an exemplary commitment to provide exceptional customer service.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Requires ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must exhibit highest level of integrity and ethical standards.
- Must be able to sit and move around sales and stock room floors for extended periods.
- Must demonstrate physical agility (bending, twisting, reaching).
- Must be available to work days, nights and weekends.
- Requires ability to travel independently to various locations in the community as well as occasional overnight travel.
- Requires ability to install, set up and monitor surveillance equipment.
