Delta Area Transit Authority is looking for an executive director, a full-time position at 40 hours a week, located in Escanaba. Duties of the director include maintaining organizational records, training and developing skills for all employees, supervising staff, serving as a liaison with the Michigan Department of Transportation and Federal Transit Administration, preparing budgets, applying for grants, compiling financial reports and short-and long-range plans for the authority, and other duties as required. The salary includes dental, life, medical and optical insurance, paid sick leave and vacation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Able to be bonded
- Able to undergo drug screening, reference and security check
- Commercial driver's license with passenger endorsements
- Able to travel overnight for meetings
