The Chippewa/East Mackinac Conservation District has a job opening for a forester in St. Ignace, to start this May. It's a seven-month-long job, full-time until October. The pay is $17 hourly, and other benefits are paid sick leave and paid vacation. The job requires your own vehicle, and mileage will be reimbursed. The job is a grant-funded position with the Emerald Ash Borer SLAM project in the Moran and St. Ignace areas.
Qualifications:
-Associate of Science degree in the field of forestry, or a Bachelor of Science degree in a natural resources related field
-Field skills, computer fluency, communication skills
-Must have your own vehicle and private driver's license
-Able to pass reference and security check
