Wild Rover announces new menu items with re-grand opening

Whenever a restaurant announces that it's closing for renovations and updating it's menu, customers have to wonder how different things will be when the doors open again.

Fans of the Wild Rover in Marquette will be happy to hear that the changes are subtle, yet noteworthy, and that the Wild Rover's re-grand opening event went off without a hitch.

The restaurant, located on Washington Street in downtown Marquette, added some simply tasty items to their menu such at the poutine (potatoes, white cheddar curds and beef demi-glace) and some quality sliders made of Wagyu beef.

The burger menu has expanded a little, too, and they've added some local flavor into their international cuisine (Dead River coffee sauce on their pork entrée, for example).

For the lovers of the old favorites on the menu, fear not: The fish and chips, shepherd's pie, beef stew and more have remained.

The executive chef is Andrew Sear and the owner is Linda Lassing and the general manager is Lorne Washburn.
