Super Bowl programs made out of U.P.-produced paper

The Verso paper mill over in Quinnesec has had its share of ups and downs, but one of the definite highlights for the company in 2012 has to be the use of its paper in the official Super Bowl XLVI programs.

Quinnesec mill manager Adam St. John says that glossy, coated paper handed over to so many fans in Indianapolis this year was made right here in the U.P.--something to be proud of, even if our Packers didn't make it to the big game.

"No matter which team you're cheering for in Super Bowl XLVI, one thing you can always count on is the exceptional quality of the official Super Bowl program," St. John says. "And this year is no exception. Verso is very proud to have our own 50-weight Influences paper produced by our Quinnesec mill used for the body of the program."

Influence is one of Verso's high-end coated paper offerings, and is often used in products like catalogs, magazines, custom projects and direct mailings.

"It is a testament to the high quality and printability of our Influence grade," says St. John. You can order an official Super Bowl program as a souvenir of the game, or just because it's cool that it was made in the U.P., here.
