Dr. Rollison joins Portage's women's health team

Dr. Charles Rollison is a veteran who earned three medals while serving in the military--hopefully an experience he won't have to fall back on too often now that he's joined the Portage Health staff as a member of the Women's Health Team.

Rollison is a board-certified physician who attended medical school at Michigan State University serving in the military as a medical professional. After spending two months in Hancock as a temporary physician in early 2011, his decision to come back to the Upper Peninsula was made a bit easier.

"I loved the efficiencies of the operating room and family birthing center at Portage Health," says Rollison. "The entire hospital seems to be focused on the right thing, ensuring quality care for the patients."

Rollison specializes in in-office minimally invasive procedures, in-office gynecologic procedures and urinary incontinence treatment.
