When
PC Medic owner Scott Martin first started repairing cell phones, he really didn't think there would be much of an impact on his business.
Little did he know that within just a few weeks he would be carrying a full line of iPhone, iPod and iPad repair accessories as well as those for Android phones and others.
"It just took off," Martin says of the cell phone repairs. "We mentioned it on our Facebook page one day and then suddenly people were bringing in their iPhones because of bad batteries, broken glass or just because they weren't functioning anymore."
And business has stayed steady in that corner of PC Medic's market, too. So much so that the company has been seeing referrals from wireless carriers in Marquette County, too. To help meet the demand, Martin has taken steps to make sure he's prepared for just about any phone that comes through the door.
"If I don't have it in stock, I'll have it in just a couple of days," says Martin of parts and supplies. "I use my cell phone all day working with clients and when I'm out on a call. I know how important they can be for personal and business use and people just don't want to wait weeks for repairs."
Right now, to celebrate PC Medic's 10th year in business, Martin is offering nearly 20 percent off labor costs to all customers and free labor costs to every 10th customer. They repair computers, tablets, gaming systems, cell phones, laptops, PC and Apple products and more.
