Brogan, who is an adjunct professor at
Michigan Technological University and
Finlandia University, will be launching his debut novel this week at North Wind Books in Hancock. The book, called Various Heroes, is published by North Star Press.
The novel draws on historical events from the Keweenaw Peninsula and finds itss modern-day characters dealing with both the real and supernatural world.
Brogan was raised in the Upper Peninsula and is retired as a high school English teacher.
