When
Lake Superior Hospice began searching for a new CEO for its operations, little did it know it would find someone as perfect for the position as Carol Carr.
Carr, who recently accepted the position of Chief Executive Office with the company, has over 12 years of non-profit experience, including positions with the Northern Michigan University Foundation and Omega House.
Carr holds a bachelor's degree in communications and political science from Western Michigan University and completed a certificate in fundraising management from the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University.
"Hospice care is such a vital part of our healthcare system and such a gift to families who are facing a terminal illness," says Carr. "Those who have been served by Lake Superior Hospice know that our staff are second to none. I feel honored to work for such a strong organization, and with such a caring and compassionate team."
Carr also currently serves as an Advisory Board member for the DeVos Museum at Northern Michigan University and is involvedwith the Sandy Knoll School Association.
