Mark Kolesar made his way back to Marquette recently and joined the ranks at
Northern Michigan Bank and Trust.
Kolsesar's new position will find him consulting with Northern Michigan Bank and Trust and its clients to provide economic and financial forecasts as well as advising about asset allocation, portfolio construction and securities research and selection.
Kolesar, who is a former senior vice president with UBS Financial in Minneapolis, began his career in Marquette when he was hired on in the trust department of the First National Bank in Marquette. In 1987, he left to take a position in Minneapolis where he stayed until retiring recently and returned to the area.
He is a graduate of Northern Michigan University with a bachelor's of science in finance and economics. He also attended the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
