If there is one thing that is lacking in the Upper Peninsula, it's the delivery of a variety of different types of food from local restaurants for lunch.
In Houghton, that's changing for businesses and the newest restaurant to add delivery to their options is Habaneros, which also recently revamped its menu and added a slew of new specials.
The Mexican restaurant, which is owned by Julia Cortright, now offers delivery to businesses in Hancock and Houghton for lunch. The delivery menu includes many items, including those off the appetizer menu, soups, salads and entrees.
Additionally, Habarneros used customer feedback on their
Facebook page to make some changes to their menu, as well the decision to offer up various specials, such as Cinco de May Countdown, free birthday dinners, student and senior discounts and a Tuesday night special where kids eat for free with the purchase of adult entrees.
