Safety should always be the number one priority for any business, and
CCI Systems out of Iron Mountain takes that to heart. That's why they recently hired Crystal Augustine as the new safety manager, who will oversee the safety of over 400 employees throughout the country.
"Safety and well being is the most important part of making life better at CCI and I’m very thrilled to have Crystal on board applying her vast knowledge and many talents to lead us in becoming a safer place to work," says CCI Systems CEO John Jamar.
Augustine’s role at CCI Systems will be focused on one item: safety. She will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining companywide safety plans, policies and procedures. The guidelines developed will be the main safety resource for the company and will be implemented throughout the country at the various job sites.
Since graduating from Bay De Noc Community College in 2000 with an associate of science degree, Augustine has since earned a bachelors of science degree from Ferris State University in environmental health and safety management and a certified worker’s compensation professional certificate from Michigan State’s Worker’s Compensation Center, School of Labor and Industrial Relations. Augustine currently holds multiple certificates, compliances and licenses.
