Bay College recently announced that it has hired Christian Nelson and Oscar DeLong to its staff.
Nelson has been hired as an accounting clerk and brings with him an associate degree from Bay College that he received in 2007 as well as an associate's degree in business administration he received in 2008. He went on to receive a bachelors in accounting from Lake Superior State University in 2012 and is pursing a masters in business administration.
He was formerly a library administrative assistant with Bay College before taking the position in the accounting department.
DeLong is the new director of library services. He has a bachelor's degree from Alma College and a master's degree in library science from Indiana University.
Previously, he worked as an access services and reference librarian and then an associate librarian at Pulaski Technical College before accepting his position with Bay College.
