A new upscale salon is gracing the streets of downtown Sault Ste. Marie.
Earlier this year, Cathy McClellan opened the doors on her
Salon C, on the first floor of a newly rehabbed historic building at 215 Ashmun Street.
McClellan brings 19 years of salon and design experience to Salon C, and the move is an expansion for her from a home-based salon business. She received training at the Redken Exchange in New York City, and at the Redken Symposium in Las Vegas.
McClellan, along with four other stylists, offer color, perm, deep conditioning, styles and cuts, and pedicures and manicures.
Salon C is open every day except Sunday. Hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
