Range Bank names Frost as new VP and CEO and plans move to Marquette

There's a lot of buzzing over at Range Bank and for good reason. The company not only announced a new vice president and CFO in John Frost, but also that it will be moving its headquarters to Marquette.

The company announced that it has purchased the iEconomy building in Marquette, the current home to the downtown area's Peninsula Bank. Of course, the move won't be complete for a couple of years--but that doesn't make the news any less noteworthy, especially considering Range Bank has had its headquarters in Negaunee for the past 125 years.

According toe Ken Palmer, the chairman, president and CEO of Range, they will still maintain a large presence in Negaunee and will expand the existing headquarters building to better suit customer needs.

In addition to announcing the expected future move, Palmer also announced that Range hired Frost as the new vice president and CFO. He replaces Roxanne Daust, who was promoted to executive vice president.

In his new role Frost will be responsible for managing the finances of Range Bank and its subsidiaries.

He has a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Western Michigan University and started his banking career in 1993. Prior to joining Range Bank he was vice president and loan fund manager for Northern Economic Initiatives Corporation in Marquette.
