We here at Second Wave are big fans of pets -- we have several, actually -- but one of the least enjoyable parts of being a pet owner is when it comes time to groom them. Like many things in life, we suggest you find a professional to do the dirty work.
Paw-rific Pet Grooming is home to such professionals, like owner Jill Rankinen. She's been grooming pets for the past 30 years, though most of that time was part-time and in her home. Now, she and Paw-rific Pet Grooming have a new home, and it's right on U.S. 41 in Ishpeming.
There, you can get a variety of services for your four-legged friends, such as nail trimming, bathing and brushing out and standard grooming.
They are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. They are also open later on those days and on Sundays by appointment.
