Norway Mountain ski hill undergoes renovation, reopens

The Norway Mountain ski hill in Norway, Michigan reopened its doors with a new look this skiing season.

Owners Kris and Neil Urban held a ribbon cutting to welcome Dickinson Area Chamber ambassadors and the public to the new renovations at the ski hill. The Urbans took over the longtime ski resort a few years ago and reopened it. Ever since, they've been making improvements.

The most recent updates are new paint inside and out, and outside lighting on the ski hill should be done soon. A new liquor license also rounds out the food and drink offerings at the resort, making it possible to offer beer, wine and spirits to skiers.

The ski hill is open for the season and current conditions can be found on their website.
