The new
Hampton Inn is now open on the waterfront in Marquette. Located on Lakeshore Boulevard, the new hotel joins a young park, bike trail, and new condo development along the lakeshore in the city's downtown.
The Hampton Inn is managed by Marquette native Reed Benton, and owned and operated by local hotel developers TJ & RM Larson, Inc. which also owns the Ramada and Holiday Inns in Marquette.

It has 84 rooms, a saltwater pool, fitness center, and, of course, views of Lake Superior and Marquette's Lower Harbor. The Hampton Hotels property is part of the Hilton Worldwide hotels.
Local photography and artwork is chosen at each Hampton hotel, and the hotel website offers up connections to local dining, attractions and history.
According to the Lake Superior Community Partnership, the Marquette Hampton Inn will add 30 jobs to the downtown.
