Great Waters Coffee Company opening in Newberry

There is no shortage of places to get a cup of coffee in the Upper Peninsula, but come March 1 there is going to be one more place where you can get a good cup of coffee (and that, my friends, is rare). 

 

The Great Waters Coffee Company will be opening its doors March 1 at 301 Newberry Avenue in Newberry. For those who are familiar with the Luce County town, you might remember that address to belong to the former Falls Hotel and you'd be right. 

 

The hotel is being completely renovated, and Great Waters Coffee Company is moving into the old taproom where a new beverage is going to be served. Coffee lovers will find themselves with a variety of tasty drinks to enjoy, ranging from regular cups of Joe to lattes to cappuccinos and espresso. And for the non-coffee lovers? Well, Great Waters thought of you, too, and will have a selection of teas and smoothies and more. 

 

If that weren't enough, the new business is also going to feature a nice selection of pastries (and from what we've seen, the brownies look absolutely scrumptious).
