The Sault Area Chamber of Commerce is welcoming a new member, and the downtown is welcoming a new business, as
Second Childhood and Adults Too moved to a West Portage Avenue location this summer.
The consignment store first opened in 2008 and specializes in name brand adult, maternity and kids' clothing, but also consigns shoes, toys, baby equipment, housewares and furniture. It's now located at 221 West Portage Avenue.
In celebration, the store will have a grand opening celebration this weekend, July 20, starting at 10 a.m. and including special sales, grilling in the parking lot, and on-site radio from Rock 101. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at noon.
We are happy to be in our great new location." says Misti Collia, owner of Second Childhood. "We are pleased to have grown to over 1,200 consigners and to be able to help out the community with affordable priced merchandise. If you are looking for something, chances are we have it."
Second Childhood is open at its new location from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.
