Escape Marquette
Escape rooms are popping up all over Michigan, and now the U.P. can claim its very own,
Escape Marquette
.
Located in the Masonic Building at 130 West Washington Street in downtown Marquette, the escape room business is both entertainment and adventure. Up to eight people get locked in a room for an hour, and have to use clues, puzzles, riddles and their wits to find their way out. Three different rooms are available, including an "Infected" theme.
The cost is $25 person, with reservations taken in advance. Escape Marquette is open from noon to 9pm most days. Escape room games are popular for parties, team-building or just for fun, and the founders say the key is using observational and problem-solving skills to escape within the time limit.
