Looking to burn off a bunch of calories but really don't feel like battling the weather and the traffic to go on a bike ride? Well, you're in luck.
Cycle Soleil, a new business in downtown Marquette, is the perfect place for you to go.
Cycle Soleil lets you burn all the calories you need--400 to 800 per session!--all while letting you do it from the great indoors. Owner Theresa Coates opened up shop at the end of February and already boasts five trainers.
"Our vision is simple--to create an environment for people to escape into an awesome body/mind fitness experience that has some of the best instructors in the area," says Coates. "Rides at Cycle Soleil are engineered to provide a fun, inspiring, high-calorie-burn workout."
Each ride combines music, coaching and lighting to create a high-energy exercise experience. The exercise is low impact, but is high cardio.
Not sure it's right for you? You're in more luck--the first session is free for any interested individual.
Cycle Soleil uses RealRyder bikes, which allow you to turn, leans, steer, race, climb and strengthen your core muscles all while generating an increased calorie burn.
"Cycle Soleil offers several classes weekly from pure cycling classes, combination cycling and toning classes, to a quick half-hour lunch time workout for busy lifestyles," says Coates, who has classes run from Monday through Saturday.
"Currently we are offering new clients that purchase a class package from Cycle Soleil a free month to Snap Fitness and two additional classes added to their purchase," she says.
