Crazy Joe's salsa now in stores

If you haven't already heard of Crazy Joe's Salsa, keep an eye out on local store shelves for the Tapiola-made, super-popular cucumber salsa, because it's expanding across the U.P.

In Tapiola, "Crazy Joe" is a name well known for the fresh, preservative- and gluten-free cucumber and tomato salsa found originally just at one small store.

Joe's son, Damien Waara, and Damien's wife Katie, of L'Anse, now are running the business on a larger scale, as Crazy Joe's salsas (in mild and spicy varieties) hit store shelves U.P.-wide.

Some of the places you can now find it: Pat's Foods, Festival Foods, Econo Foods, Keweenaw Co-op, Jim’s Foodmart, Louie’s Super Foods, Larry’s Market, Pines Convenience Center, Dick’s Pump & Munch, and the Baraga BP station.
