There's a new financial planning office open in Sault Ste. Marie just in time for tax season.
Blumark is celebrating its opening by giving back to the community with fundraising as well.
While tax preparation is part of the Blumark service offerings, whole-service financial consulting is their core mainstay. To introduce them, the office is giving special rates on tax return preparation, and holding a fundraiser for the Sault Ste. Marie chapter of the United Way.
Clients who make a donation to the Sault United Way before April 15 will have their donations matched 50 percent by Blumark. For instance, a $20 client donation will be matched by $10 from Blumark. The financial planners will give up to $5,000 to United Way.
"We are committed to helping the community while giving people across Michigan the very best, most personalized financial planning and tax preparation services," says Henry Guzzo, Blumark's co-founder and director of financial planning. "And we can't think of a better way to celebrate our launch than by making tax season a little less painful and, at the same time, helping some very worthy local nonprofit organizations."
The Sault Ste. Marie office is one of two Blumark recently opened in Michigan; the other is in Rochester Hills.
