Stephenson National Bank and Trust in Stephenson announced it has completed a merger with Bank North, adding five new offices. The move also brings with it more than 6,500 new customers.
"We'd like to say 'Welcome!' to all the new families joining SNBT. We're excited to be your banking partner and are looking forward to serving you with the highest quality of service," says Daniel Peterson, president and CEO of SNBT. "Since the merger was announced in February, we have been working very hard to make the transition as smooth as possible."
The merger brings the bank's locations up to eight, across three counties: Marinette and Oconto counties in Wisconsin, and Menominee County in Michigan. According to the bank, most staff will stay the same including Bank North's Jerry Schmidt, who will continue to lead the former Bank North offices as market president.
New signs went up at the new SNBT branches as of Monday, when the merger became official. The locations of SNBT are now in Marinette, Wausaukee, Crivitz, Amberg, Pembine, and Oconto in Wisconsin, and Menominee and Marquette in Michigan.
