“Students will have access to IBM tools and technology and can come out of this with certifications in AI and cybersecurity and others,” says Josh Sabo, founder of The INDUSTRY. “Even if they don’t win, it’s really great on a resume.”

Through all of life's lessons, Matt and Tim Browning have studied and beat the odds to achieve a success that few find in life, and continue to inspire others to reach new levels as well. They are true champions in their community.

“Huron City is my interpretation, for want of a better word, of being a stranger in a strange place,” says Daniel Williams, creator of the Huron City Radio podcast. “I feel part of here but still, I don’t always know what’s going on.”

“We’re especially aware of it in February, because it’s Black History Month, but Black history is American history. It’s local history. It’s not a separate thing,” says Andrew Kercher. “It deserves to be acknowledged year-round.”

Like many a Michigander with connections to Canada, Ashley Macpherson has made the trip so many times that she’s grown a great affinity for the Blue Water Area. So much so, in fact, that Ashley and her young family recently packed up and moved from metro Detroit to St. Clair, purchasing a home and putting their roots down in November 2019.

With ice fishing, hiking, sledding, and more, St. Clair County offers plenty of opportunities for wintertime fun in the Blue Water Area.
