Ollie Mitchell has joined the team at
GreenStreet Marketing Communications
in Battle Creek. He brings with him an extensive background in graphic design, illustration and developing creative concepts.
Mitchell says his goal is to "empower clients with strong campaigns to build their brand and support their goals." He also says he is impressed by GreenStreet’s tradition of providing inventive, tailored solutions for clients.
Mitchell’s design experience spans almost a decade, ranging from event graphics, and internal team building graphics, to marketing materials, and large format graphics.
As an intern for Little Caesar’s Enterprises in Detroit, he created an original character named "Super Caesar," inspired by his love of comic books. He served as production designer/graphic artist for museum exhibits at Detroit Science Center, and was lead designer at EventLink, where he proposed a 2012 Final Four campaign for Buick which led to multiple projects with the automaker.
A native of Port Huron who also lived in Bay City, Mitchell graduated from Port Huron Northern High School and pursued a bachelor of fine arts degree from the International Academy of Design and Technology, where he met his wife, a fellow graphic designer.
Mitchell says he was drawn to GreenStreet’s warm atmosphere and personal approach with clients.
"The clients of GreenStreet seem like friends as much as business partners," Ollie says. "I'm a friendly designer that loves working with others to bring the best out of every project."
GreenStreet Marketing Communications is a full-service advertising agency based in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo. Its diverse clientele includes financial, health care, retail, industrial and nonprofit organizations.
