Women now have a new place to get the specialized health care they need in Battle Creek.
Borgess Women's Health has opened a practice at 2545 Capital Ave, Suite 207.
The team at the new practice is led by Dr. Travis Terrell. Obstetrical and gynecological care is provided. The practice has one physician and four staff members.
The Battle Creek practice joins those in Kalamazoo, Plainwell, and Portage. Dr. Terrell says it is exciting to expand a network and serve women "as partners in health for their life’s journey."
"Borgess has always been an innovator and leader in high-quality health care for residents throughout the region," says Dr. Terrell. "Through Borgess Women’s Health, as well as through Borgess Health Park when it is completed, women and other patients will continue to receive the absolute best in health care."
Borgess Health is a member of Ascension Health, the nation’s largest Catholic and non-profit health system that encompasses Borgess Medical Center, Borgess Gardens and many additional owned or affiliated services.
The 123-year-old health care ministry serves residents of 10 counties. It is one of the area’s largest health care providers and also is one of the largest employers. For more information, please visit its
