For 16 years Tom Austin has been providing tax service in Southwest Michigan. But it's diversity that's kept his business growing.
"We focus on all areas of financial management, from investment and retirement planning to risk management and estate conservation," Austin says.
The service provided is not tied to a single product or company, so its professionals can draw upon a full complement of products to construct the most appropriate retirement, income tax and insurance plan for its customers needs, says Austin.

As the business has grown so have its offices. Four years ago its opened its current office. The business continued to grow, spurring Austin to add 900 square feet to the back of the building this past winter, creating several new tax offices and a new records room. It's also added staff. Austin Tax & Financial has grown from five to eight employees by adding two tax preparers and an employee to handle marketing.
Austin Tax & Financial recently celebrated the expansion of its offices at 4231 Red Arrow Highway in Lincoln Charter Township with a ribbon cutting and visits by local officials and various dignitaries. Representatives from the township, Cornerstone Chamber of Commerce and others attended.
This past year Austin Tax & Financial completed more than 1,100 tax returns after just four years of offering the service at its Lincoln Township location, Austin says.
