Benton Harbor gets new personal training facility

At the gym, so many people asked Sebastian Lewis if he was a personal trainer and would he train them that he decided that must be what he has been called to do.
A fitness fanatic for 25 years, Lewis now is bringing his know-how to Benton Harbor at his
Beautiful Bodies Training Facility
.
The new business at 107 Water Street recently celebrated its opening with a ribbon cutting at the facility that is about 1,000 square feet. It is furnished with all the standard training equipment needed for workouts, such as cycles, leg presses, treadmlls, ellipticals and many others.
Lewis has been an International Sports Science Association (ISSA) certified personal trainer for five years. He also graduated from Kaplan University in Davenport, Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in business. He says furthering his education and his 100 percent determination made his dream of having his own personal training facility a reality.
Beautiful Bodies provides personal trainers that will "help you every step of the way with a clear plan on how to achieve your goals," Lewis says. "Along with your workout plan you also receive personalized meal plans and supplements according to your fitness levels and goals."
All Beautiful Bodies trainers are independent Herbalife distributors and will recommend supplements according to individual needs.
For now, Lewis in the sole trainer at the facility, but he expects to hire two more certified personal trainers to help as the business grows. He currently serves 31 clients and demand is quickly growing.
Training can be provided for individuals or for groups of no fewer than three people.
Lewis says he chose the Water Street location for his facility because there are not many gyms and trainers in the City of Benton Harbor and he wanted to give back to his community by keeping his prices reasonable and affordable. How does he do that? Lewis says that he has been told he should be charging double what he now charges for personal training.
Lewis also says that those who he trains are not just clients to him. When he takes on their personal training they "officially become my friends."
Beautiful Bodies is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
