Landscape Forms fixes up B.C. outdoor fixtures

The rusted trash cans and benches along two busy streets on Battle Creek’s south side may never catch the eye of motorists, but a recent summer day they had the complete attention of a small group of volunteers, the Battle Creek Enquirer reports.

Eight people from Landscape Forms Inc., the Comstock-based maker of park benches, streetlights and other outdoor fixtures, spent the day scraping away rust and applying fresh paint to benches and trash cans along Beckley Road and Capital Avenue Southwest. The project was meant to bring new life to aging fixtures purchased from Landscape Forms decades ago.
