Peek joins TC Chamber of Commerce as membership representative

The Traverse City Area Chamber of Commerce has a new membership representative in Sheila Peek. 

Peek comes to the chamber from a long career at Hibu as a print and digital media consultant. She also has been a partner and sales manager at Traverse City Toffee Co. and worked as a sales representative for Benjamin Twiggs in Traverse City.

She is a graduate of Traverse City Central High School and has a bachelor's degree in marketing and business from Michigan State University.

At the chamber, Peek will be in charge of membership recruitment and retention, and work with the new Chamber Ambassadors group to help build chamber membership and strengthen its ties to the community.

"We're excited to have someone with the talent and experience of Sheila join the chamber staff," says Laura Oblinger, chief operating officer at the chamer. "She brings an impressive history of sales and customer service--and a wealth of local knowledge--to our organization."
