Anders Gillis is the newest associate attorney in Smith Haughey's Traverse City office, and previously was a summer associate at the firm. He will be representing and defending individuals and companies in commercial litigation, real estate and trusts, and estate planning. Gillis has a J.D. from Michigan State University, where he was the vice president of the Environmental Law Society and editor of the Journal of Animal and Natural Resource Law. He holds bachelor's degrees from Northern Michigan University.
Another summer associate at the firm, Charles Pike, joins the Grand Rapids office, where he will represent individuals and companies in commercial litigation, legal malpractice, professional liability, transportation and no-fault law. He holds a J.D. from Wayne State University and a bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University.
