A new business service is online thanks to a couple of local media outlets.
MiLocalBiz.com is a new service that operates as a portal for northern Michigan local businesses. It's a joint project by WTV-WWUPTV
9&10 News and WFQX-WFUP TV Fox 32 and will allow users to find businesses and organizations that they most need.
The focus is on connecting potential clients to businesses and strengthening the local economy, while providing efficient use of information, in contrast to other directories which can lack local value.
"We are excited about this new service and all it offers to our viewers," says Bill Kring, General Manager of 9&10 News and Fox 32. "This is Northern Michigan's Premier eCommerce Portal and it will make it easier to find businesses and services throughout our area. We are all about communicating important information to those that need it most and this is just another way we will be able to do that."
