Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital names new president

Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital in Frankfort has a new president, Peter Marinoff.

Marinoff has been the hospital's chief operating officer, and will replace former president Jim Austin, whose retirement from the hospital is taking place this fall.

Austin will stay on as Kalkaska Memorial Health Center's administrator until his retirement from that position next year.

Marinoff joined Munson Healthcare in 1999 as an accountant, became director of operations in 2007, and COO in 2009. He also has served as accountant in public accounting firms in Virginia and Traverse City.

He holds a master's degree in business administration and a health care certificate from the University of Michigan, is a member of the Michigan Health and Hospital Association Small and Rural Hospital council, and serves the community as treasurer for the Benzie County Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Benzie Sunrise Rotary.
