The 2-1-1 of Northeast Michigan program has named a new executive director. Sarah Kile was named to the position for the non-profit recently and comes into her position with experience in advocacy and public health.
"I am excited to serve every single person, agency and organization in 20 counties, including Otsego," Kile says. "I am humbled and honored to be part of connecting people in need with the resources that can help."
2-1-1 is a phone number to call for people who may be in need or may be looking for information or referral services. The program serves anyone who is struggling, working families, the elderly, single parent and those who find themselves homeless and/or hungry.
Calls to 2-1-1 are free and confidential and the service is available 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
