The Charlevoix Area Chamber of Commerce is under new leadership now that the board of directors has announced Alison Boyer Hubbard as it's new president and COO.
Hubbard will take her position with the chamber come April 7. Her responsibilities include overseeing employees, working with the board of directors, emphasis on the community branding program and helping enhance and promote local businesses.
Hubbard most recently worked as the annual giving manager for the McLaren Northern Michigan Foundation. She has also been the director of membership for the Vail Valley Partnership in Colorado and has had work experience in metropolitan areas such as New York City and Boston.
