Byte Productions added a new staff member recently after offering their summer intern a permanent position.
The company, which is based in Traverse City, hired Travis Crawford as a part of its IT department. Crawford is a graduate of the computer information technology program at Northwestern Michigan College and was the intern all summer with Byte Productions.
His position--which is newly created--will evolve in the coming months, but his focus will be assisting the company's clients and working as support within the IT department.
This is the second new hire this year for Byte Productions, which added a sales and marketing manager earlier in 2013.
