It looks like there is a new owner of the
Beach Haus Resort over on Traverse City's East Bay.
Josh Wuerfel and his wife, Tonya, are operating the business. What's pretty cool about it all is that this is the third time in the history of the resort, which has 32 rental units and sits right on the beach on the East Bay, that a member of the Wuerfel family has owned the resort.
According to
The Ticker (if you don't read this online pub, you really need to), Wuerfel's parents, John and Leslye -- the owners of the Traverse City Beach Bums baseball organization -- got their start in hospitality as managers of the resort. The Wuerfels went on to build the Grand Beach Resort Hotel and Sugar Beach Resort Hotel.
