Absolute Michigan giving away free passes to summer festivals

Summer means festivals in Michigan, and this area has some of the best, like the Traverse City Wine & Art Festival or Crystal Mountain's Taste of Michigan.

Absolute Michigan is helping festivalgoers out with free ticket giveaways to 23 Michigan festivals and events this summer, including the ones above and quite a few others in Northwest Michigan, too.

If you're traveling north or south in Michigan this summer, they've also got tickets to events like the Porcupine Mountain Music Festival in the U.P. or Maker Faire in Detroit. Absolute Michigan is helping promote the events as part of its mission to showcase the diversity and range of Michigan's offerings.

"Absolute Michigan is dedicated to highlighting what's working in Michigan, and there's no question that one of Michigan's strengths is the diversity and fun that our events offer.," says publisher Andrew McFarlane. "We've tried to make it really easy for folks to win -- just sign up for our email list and we'll tell you what's up in the Great Lakes State every week and if you're the next winner. It's that easy!"

Some of the other festivals offering free tickets are the Traverse City Microbrew and Music Festival, Paella in the Park, the Dunegrass Music Festival, Thunder Over Michigan, Farm Fest, the Hoxeyville Music Festival, and Midwest Fest 2011.
