Wojan Glass & Door makes Inc. 5000 list for fourth-consecutive year

Being named as one of the fastest-growing companies in the country is starting to become old hat for the folks over at Wojan Glass & Door in Charlevoix.

The company, which has been in business since 1952, has shrugged off the tough economy for the past four years to earn recognition on Inc. Magazine's list of America's Fastest Growing Private Companies. The glass industry, as a whole, did well, with everything from contract glaziers to glass fabricators, door and window manufacturers and a full range of glass suppliers showing growth.

Wojan Window & Door has had consecutive rankings on the list  since 2007.

"The ranking reflects our employees' hard work and focus on achieving continuous improvement," says Keith Demeuse, Wojan Executive Vice President. "Our goals include ever-better execution in areas such as design engineering, customer service, supply chain and manufacturing quality."

This year, Wojan was ranked 4,832. The company reported three-year sales growth of 8 percent and a 2009 revenue of $16 million. The company manufactures aluminum windows and sliding doors. It has production facilities in Charlevoix as well as downstate in Coldwater.
