A new sales manager will be making her mark on the region for
TV 7&4 and ABC 29&8 now that Jan Stone has been hired.
"Jan is an enthusiastic and outgoing leader with a proven track record," says Shawn Wilcox, vice president of sales for the stations. "Her knowledge of the Traverse City (and) Cadillac market and her years of experience are sure to benefit local advertisers."
Stone is no stranger to working in the television industry. In fact, she's no stranger to working for ABC 29&8, either. From 1985 to 1994, she worked as an account executive and local sales manager for the station before taking a position as a division manager in the cable advertising industry. From that point, Stone moved to Pennsylvania to work on the agency side of the advertising business before coming back to Traverse City in 2005. She previously worked in the area for a health care technology company before accepting her new sales manager position.
