A new restaurant has opened in Big Rapids, inside the Holiday Inn.
Located at 1005 Perry Avenue, the
Sporting News Grill is a new bar and grill managed by Holly Mortenson of the Holiday Inn. The chef is Don Rockafellow and the food style is American, with the doors open to anyone for breakfast through bar close.
You can make a reservation, walk in, or get take out from the Sporting News Grill. Outdoor seating is also available, at least in the right seasons for it --this is Michigan, after all. Large groups and events are welcome, and so are children.
The newly renovated restaurant and bar opened for business in early October.
