"Opening Day" took on a different meaning for one Northwest Michigan business on Nov. 15. The date, which is the annual first day for firearm deer season throughout Michigan -- and typically very celebrated in Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula -- was the grand-opening day for Manistee's
Redeemed Furniture Art and Décor.
The shop, which touts itself as a "new artisan market," is focused on helping customers realize that "what was once old, is now new."
Reclaimed furniture and accessories has been a steadily-growing concept, and Redeemed Furniture Art and Décor plays right into fans of that movement. They have offerings from a variety of different vendors, including Rethunk Junk furniture paint, Pinky's and multiple local crafters.
The store, which has something for just about any décor needs, is located at 172 Memorial Drive.
