A new kind of boutique is opening in downtown Traverse City.
Glitz & Spurs held a grand opening this week at its new location at 207 E. Front Street (the former location of Leaping Lizard).
Owned by Katie Grossnickle, the store brings equestrian and Western fashion to the north. Grossnickle has owned a mobile version of the store called Puttin' on the Glitz, with which she's traveled to horse shows around the country previously.
Customers can find women's and men's casual wear, jewelry and accessories, all with a Western flair, at the new store.
