FAST Physical Therapy expands, changes name

Two Traverse City physical therapy locations are changing their name and joining a national chain.
 
FAST Physical Therapy, with locations at Copper Ridge and Fit For You Health Club, will now be called Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers.
 
FAST announced the change is a reflection of joining together with a group of private practice owners and results in the addition of a state-of-the-art balance program to existing programs.
 
The new Fyzical locations will offer several services including therapy for sports injuries, orthopedics, spine and joints, pre- and post-surgery therapy, and the addition of the SOS Fall Prevention System, which offers therapy techniques to prevent balance problems, dizziness and falls for patients.
 
The Copper Ridge location is at 4000 Eastern Sky Drive, while the Fit For You location is at 1226 South Garfield Avenue, both in Traverse City.
