A new shop in Ludington is getting lots of attention from those who like vintage home décor.
The Curly Haired Girl, located in the lower level of Cedar Chest Consignment on Ludington Avenue, is owned by Caroline Van Houten. Van Houten creates her own crafted items to sell, like vintage-look wooden signs, and repurposes old furniture into décor pieces that fit modern homes.
The store is at 110 West Ludington Avenue, downstairs. The bywords Van Houten uses to describe her stock might inspire home decorators: "shabby," "French," and "recycled" are all part of her ethos. The store is at 110 West Ludington Avenue, downstairs, and generally is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
