Decorating and furnishing homes isn't something everyone is capable of doing well (we should know--that ol' futon in our living room just isn't stylish anymore!), which is exactly why some folks should consider heading over to the newly-opened boutique home furnishings business,
The Cottage Moon.
This new business, located in the former Holland's Nest location at 531 East Eighth Street in Traverse City, offers up a nice variety of old and new furnishings and décor, as reported by
The Ticker. Some of it feels very rustic and vintage and some of it feels very stylistic and modern. In any case, you should stop in and chat with owner Carol Buckel, who used to be an interior designer before opening up shop in TC.
The store is open from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday. You can also stop by from noon until 4 p.m. on Sundays.
