Circuit Controls to expand in Emmet County

An Emmet County company is getting funding from the Michigan Strategic Fund to expand its facility and add 36 new jobs. 

 

Circuit Controls Corporation makes automotive electrical terminals in Bear Creek Township, and will be expanding its manufacturing facility there with a capital investment of up to $21.7 million. Most of that is coming from CCC's parent company, the Tokyo-based Yazaki Corporation, with $180,000 coming from the Michigan Business Development Program to help support the expansion. The company also will be able to take advantage of a tax abatement from the township in the amount of $719,000 as part of the deal.

 

Circuit Controls was one of two companies receiving funding; the other was North American Lighting, which is expanding in Farmington Hills and will create 76 jobs there.
